Rimouski Museum

 

 

 

 

This was a very interesting tour for us, as we leaned about the story of a huge ship (almost like the titanic) that sunk at 1 am near the shores of Rimouski, 2 years after the Titanic sunk. One of my Aunty's lives in Rimouski, and she brought us here. A very sad but interesting story. Another boat had hit it in very foggy conditions. Here are just a few photos we took.

The Chateau Frontenac was just gorgeous! We went inside for a bit. We took quite a few photos of some of the beautiful buildings and bridges we saw. The photo with the fountain was taken in a very small hamlet, before we got to the Canadian border crossing. There were many huge houses, and this was just one of them. I also had to take a photo of the two flags that were displayed on every lightpost on the main street. Thought that was pretty cool. More photos to come... (trying not to overload you! :)

We checked out the Aquarium in Boston, and I had fun with my camera... Thought these pictures were pretty neat.

Also, today is Grant and my Wedding Anniversary. Almost forgot! Happy Anniversary Honey!! Can't believe it's been almost 10 years we're together, and 4 years married! A couple wedding photos coming up to share some memories...

Trip to Quebec

 

 

 

So... we're BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! We spent a great 2 weeks in Quebec / USA. We spent 3 days in Quebec city, then went to my Mom's home town, then headed off to New Yok, but made it to Boston, and then to Montreal, and took the plane from Quebec city. It was a holiday packed with many things to do.. Here are a few pictures of us... a couple from the Ferry ride to Levi (crossing the St. Laurence River) and a couple from our tour on an Island near Boston. I will post more when I have a chance.

Here are a few pictures of us in Red Deer with my birth family.. Had a great visit! Just thought I'd post a few for fun!
Today we're going to a pancake breakfast and then the Lac La Biche parade. Meagan loves parades!! She's already excited for the Fireworks on Sunday night, as well.

Just checked out a few of the activites we might catch while we're in Quebec. We're going from August 6th (My birthday spent on a plane!) and coming back on the 19th (at 11 pm!) I cross my fingers that the kids will do fine on the plane and throughout the 2 weeks!! Be ready for some overloading of PICTURES when we come back!!
