It's my FAVORITE time of the year for picture taking, so if there is ANYONE checking out my blog, you'll see alot of fall photos. I'll try to space them out! :)

I was up at 4 this morning, playing with photos.. Can't sleep, so why not? And it's so nice to have my quiet time during the night, while the kids are sleeping. But, don't get me wrong. IT would STILL be better if I could sleep :)

I took 300 pictures yesterday. wow... But half were at Claudia and Ivans' and the other half, I took family pictures for a friend of mine. Unfortunately, my battery was dieing and many were blurred at the end!
It was such a perfect day for photo taking. I have 4 other friends waiting to get their photos done too... :) So I hope this nice weather holds up!

NOW... I need to know if anyone actually checks this blog out, because I might stop postings. So, drop me a comment any time. I'd love to see if it's worth it, or if I should just do a personal journal. ;}

Going to go try to get an hour or two of sleep. I have more pics to post later. So stay tuned....

A nice fall day...

 

 

 

 

We went for a walk so that Caleb could ride his new tricycle. He's been riding it in the house, and loving it so much. I thought my favorite lens was wrecked, but somehow it started to work again. I was so happy, so I took a few pictures of the kids. I have a few friends asking if I can take some family photos of them in the fall leaves, and now I'll be able to. This weekend, I'm excited because I have someone booked to take our family photos. She does such a great job, and I can't wait to see the work she does! I'm sure I'll be posting a few pictures so you can see! :)

First day of Preschool!

 

Meagan's been so excited about her first day of Preschool, and now it's come and gone. I was there with her, (as parent helper) and she was the Student helper of the day. She also was able to so "Show & Tell", as you can see in the photo. She had a fun day, and tomorrow she'll be back, but this time all by herself. It'll be so weird not having her with me all afternoon 2 days a week! Caleb will miss her too!

As you can see, we had quite an adventure on our quading trip yesterday. We had a great time with great friends, and it was such a nice day for it! We were quading from 11-8pm. With a few breaks in between, and a few stops to help someone get unstuck...

Playing around

 

 

 

 

So... back to taking photos of just my kids, as we've been spending time at home now... I felt like playing around the camera again, with a lens I never use. What's new with us? Meagan starts PLAYSCHOOL on Monday! We go meet the teacher tonight. My baby is not a baby anymore. She's already writing her name, and can spell some 3 letter words. Smart girl we've got!

Her and I went fishing at the trout pond yesterday evening, and we had a lot of fun. We watched a muskrat swim around the dock. We didn't catch anything, but the muskrat caught 2 little trouts.

My favorite all time picture of the kids... And it's thanks to Grant, as he told me to grab the camera. It makes me laugh when he looks at photography a little different now that I'm learning how to take better shots. He takes more photos now, and he comments on some of the ones that are taken....

Going to bed now... maybe I'll get in an hour of sleep before the kids get up. I've been up since 4:30 am, and now I'm finally tired! :)

Touring Boston

 

 

 

 

Pictures taken in Boston.... Before we took a ferry to George's Island, we got the kids to play in the water fountain while we waited. They loved it! There were buttons you could push to start 5 different fountains. It was such a hot day, so it cooled them off nicely. Boston can be seen behind Meagan and Myself.

New York

 

 

 

 

These are a few pictures taken on the drive back from Boston, heading back into Canada. The plan was to make it to New York... and we made it there - the state. We drove through the tip of New York state. So we can say we were there, for about 15 minutes. The town we stopped at was very close to the border, and I thought it was pretty neat that they had both country's flags.

Thought I'd put on a few more pictures, as I really didn't put many on about our trip. We just had a garage sale this weekend, and it turned out good. Thanks Claudia for all the help!!! This is 2 years in a row, having a sale. There BETTER not have to be one next year...

Meagan starts preschool on the 15th already!!!! My baby's a big girl :( She started writing her name this week, after being shown once. She's really into making crafts (EVERY DAY!!), so I'm always looking for more ideas of what she can do. She will love school! Can't believe it's fall already!! We had such a great summer, but it went by too fast!
