Tobagganing

It was such a beautiful weekend, and the kids and I went tobagganing. I had taken some great photos, and ended up deleting all but one. So this is it. I wasn't too happy with myself. But I did get some video. Caleb was not a very happy camper, as he hated walking back up the hill. He's still trying to get used to walking in deep snow. I will for sure bring them again, and I'll make sure NOT to delete my photos!

Today Meagan has her Pajama Party at her school, and she's so excited. She will also be starting her swimming lessons tomorrow. Not sure how that's going to go. She can be a little stubborn as to what she'll allow herself to do.

We're looking forward to seeing "DADDY" again. He will try to come home in a week. He did make it home for a few hours. (Not until 11pm) Meagan stayed up to wait for him, and he held her for almost an hour, before he had to go change the oil on the truck. I don't know who missed who the most...

Later!

Family photos

Here are a few family photos we were able to catch during the holidays. Years from now, it'll be so nice to look back at these photos and remember these moments. It's incredible to think of how many relatives we have. Way too many to even count. We had such a great holiday season, and it was great to see at least some of our kin! :)

Opening presents

So.. today we're having a relaxing day. Meagan's at her friends house, Caleb's hanging out with mom, as she hopes to have time to do the company books today. Grant's running around, trying to get stuff done before he has to go to work up north. I went through my photos taken over the holidays, and cleaned some of them up. Here are a few of the kids opening their gifts. They love all the presents they've gotten, and since Meagan's birthday was just recently, we have lots of new things to play with. I don't let them play with all of them right away. Every couple days, we pull out something new. Last night we took out the Princess tee set and cart that Santa got Meagan (she actually asked for this). Caleb enjoyed it just as much as she did, as he loves to push things around. Some of the specials gifts they got include: a pop up tent with balls, a vtech motion computer game, little people bus, race cars, trucks, playdough set, clothes, and Meagan even got bunnies bought for a home in need, in her name. Now that winter is upon us, we're a little house bound, so it's great to have new things to amuse them!!
