Fun with photos

After Meagan's haircut, I stopped at the Big Dock, to take some photos of the kids. It is such a beautiful fall day, and I so hope we can go take some family photos in the leaves, before it snows.. (which the weather man says may happen soon!!)

First day of Kindergarden

Well, our little girl is officially going to school now. I think it was harder for Grant and I. Meagan was very calm about going, and when she got home, she said she had an "Awesome" day. The whole family drove her to school, and Caleb was quite mad that he couldn't stay. He missed her a lot during the day (as did I)... Grant and I both met her at the bus, at the end of the day. On Monday, she needs to work on going to the bathroom, as least ONCE during the day! She doesn't want to miss anything. It will also be interesting to have Meagan miss her 2 hr naps furing the day. She will be a very tired girl for a few weeks. It will be very weird for me to be home alone with Caleb. It's a lot quieter. He's slowly learning more words, but is content not talking much. Until later...

Little Chapel

This little chapel was between our campsite, and the museum. The kids really enjoyed their visit here. They took it very seriously, to read from the bible, and welcome each other into the building. Very cute.

Meagan holding Brittany

So... I think our best moment in Drumheller was when Meagan held Brittany the snake. WE even bought her a shirt that says "Brittany Hugged me". I wish I knew how to put videos on this site, as it's so cute to see Meagan's expression. Caleb only touched the snake once, and Grant had her around his neck too. The picture with the Soup pot, was taken at our camp site.

Tyrell Museum

We had been looking forward to coming here for quite a while. Meagan has been learning about dinosaurs, and kept asking when we'd get to go to the museum. What we didn't expect is that both of them would start screaming and crying at the entrance to the gallery. There were sounds of dinosaurs roaring, and they wouldn't even walk in. OOOOPPS.... We walked them through the back of the gallery, where there were no sound effects. They were fine if they never heard the roaring. The last photo was at the front entrance, where Grant and I poked our heads in.

Drumheller

These are just a few pictures of our first evening in Drumheller. We went up the T - Rex, and saw the beautiful view, from it's mouth. We climbed about 105 steps. Grant had to carry "little" Caleb up the stairs, as he was a little scared of the interior decorations. The kids thought it was pretty cool. The next day, we went for a dip at the outdoor pool at the campsite, and then headed to the Tyrell Museum.

Car Show

While we were in Waterton, we went to an Antique Car show. The kids pretty much raced through, while Grant took his time, and enjoyed the selection. The kids loved the Mascot, and Caleb was so cute, as he's scream "HI", and waved to him, where ever he saw him in the park. While I was taking Kim's photos for her wedding, she was able to pose in front of one of the nicest cars that came to visit the Waterfalls. The kids also enjoyed playing in the tipi, and of course I had to take pictures. It toal, I think I took over 2200 photos from just the weekend alone. Wow!

Waterton

Waterton was such a beautiful place to spend the weekend. It was a very long drive, but worth it. The deer were walking all over the town, and through the campground. We took a Boat tour, that went past the US border. There's Caleb making his face. The kids also enjoyed a Moonlight Boat parade. The boats in the area, including the 3 large ones for the tours were lit up with lights, and went for a loop on the lake. We watched them from the wharf, and then drove up to the beautiful Hotel, that you can see behind Kim, and the view was amazing. More photos to come later!!

More BC Pictures

Just thought I'd post a few more pictures. It's been a VERY busy summer.... We've slept in our 5th wheel 32 nights so far, and we've had it since June 9th!! These are a few from BC, when Meagan went for a tube ride with her Uncle. And a cute photo of Caleb peeking his head out of the camper door.

I just put almost 1800 photos from the past weekend. Wow huh? I went to my Best Friends' wedding, and took photos for her. We really enjoyed our trip to Waterton, and it was a beautiful wedding. Of course the Bride was glowing! We also took a trip to Drumheller, and got to see Grandma & Grandpa St. Germain, and Uncle in Red Deer.

We spent the day at the beach today, trying to enjoy the last of summer. It was really hot today. My Baby will be starting Kindergarden soon, and I'm trying to take advantage of having her with us during the days. I'm going to miss having her by my side.

And a BIG HELLO to my Mom, who's in Quebec. WE miss her lots, and we hope she enjoys the pictures. (As I'm guessing she will!)
