Well, we had quite an interesting evening last night! I had booked my babysitter for the evening so I could mow the lawn, she was going to take them for a walk. While I was making supper, my cat started acting weird and I realized she was going to have her kittens, (way sooner than I thought) she just started showing! She wanted me beside her, so it worked out good that she had her first one as the kids were going for their walk. I sat beside her for 1hr 1/2 while she had 3 of the cutest kittens. Then while I was trying to put the kids to bed, she came to me and acted weird again, and I sat beside her and she had the forth and last one. So, my lawn never got done, and now I have some kittens to play with. I hope I can squeeze in some play time with them, as I seem to be always busy!

Just another day
Well, the concert was EXTREMELY great. Grant and I had a good time, but we did miss the kids. They had fun with their Aunty Jody and Grandma, and with Meagan's friend. Just thought I'd put on a few more pictures. My boy is growing fast, he is now 22 pounds!! He'll catch up to Meagan fast! He has an instant smile as soon as anyone chats with him. He's a very hapy baby boy. Had to put on the picture of Meagan falling asleep on her Dora bed and of her checking out Great Aunty's sheep. She had fun trying to talk to them in their language. We look forward to seeing some of our other realatives when they come up for Caleb's Baptism. Should be fun! Later!

Another update
Just thought I'd post another update... The one I tried to put in last week didn't come up, so I'll rewrite it today... Things are busy around our household like always. This month is full of birthday parties. we had a good Father's Day as we went to Bonnyville. Grant was spoiled by his little ones as they got him 2 tickets to the Tim Mcgraw & Faith Hill concert tomorrow night!! (Of course, I get to go too!) :) Next weekend is Caleb's baptism, so we have a little yard work and a deck to build... before we get company.
Meagan has really been into stickers lately, as you can tell by the picture of our cat. POoor Gracie!! AND WE HAVE SOME NEWS!! We are expecting again.... Kittens that is! Gracie is now pregant, and I'm excited to have some little kritters to play with, besides my own.
Grant finally brought in his gravel truck to get ready for inspection, so he'll start getting more busy working with that truck instead of the vac truck. We are hoping to go to the zoo or waterpark this week with the kids. And when there's some good weather we want to take Meagan fishing. SHe's been "pretend" fishing for so long with her Dora fishing rod since Christmas.
And we had another set of friends have a new little boy and there's another baby soon to come in the begining of July. Babies everywhere! Better get some work done...

Swimming
Our first swimming trip with Caleb and Meagan... It was our last day for our play group "Moms 'n Munchkins", and I attempted the pool with the 2 of them. The water was a little chilly for Caleb, but he did go in for a bit. Needed more hands though to keep up with the both of them. I'm sure we'll go back soon. After the pool we had a pizza party.
Grant's going to an Auction sale today in Nisku. We'll see how much he spends!! The last time he bought ANOTHER riding lawn mower (his 3rd one!!!) I get my hair done today. Needs to be done badly. Notice what time I'm writing this... This is to keep you updated Kim, as you're a faithful follower!!! (And I know how busy you are at work!! Hee Hee). I've been playing on the computer between Caleb's feedings. And he just got up again. Gotta run... ( I mean feed)

More chit chat
I'm not too sure if anyone checks this site out, but I'll add a litle update about us. Actually, there's not much to report... Life is the same. We're learning to function with not much sleep. We are all doing fine. I've been sorting through clothes, taking out the winter stuff, bringin in the summer. We always try to sort through all our stuff, and now have a new shed. Where does all this stuff come from!!!Caleb continues to grow like a weed. He was weighed in at 18 pounds when he turned 2 months old. Keeping him in oufits that fit good is a challenge. He wears a 12 month shirt, 3-6 month pants, and 9 month sleepers. He now sleeps in a crib in our room , as the basinnette was too small after 2 months. The infant car seat will be the next to go. He's MUCH too heavy to carry him in it, and my hands are getting callused (sp?). Lately he loves to hang out in the swing and falls asleep among the noise.
Meagan loves to kiss Caleb ALL the time. I'm sure that'll stop when they start to fight over toys! She's been spending lots of time outside with Daddy. She helped him plant some trees and asks to go for a "Tike ide" (in English - Trike ride) every day.
Let me know if you're checking this blog out with a quick comment. Give me heck if you'd like more updates more frequently. Unfortunately, I found out we CAN't get teh high speed internet where we're at, becuase our trees are too thick. - stupid trees! Later!
