We were at the Moms n Munchkins today, and I just thought they had a nice display so I just had to do a small photo shoot... These pictures turned out so nice!
Just love the colors... Now I just need to be able to have time to scrapbook these photos!!! Where does the time go! Hopefully I'll be able to scrapbook something for them BEFORE they are 18!
Of couse I'll have some more photos from our Trick or Treating... Hope you enjoy!

Preparing for Halloween

That's my cuties! Had them dress up in their costumes a while back, when I started decorating for Halloween. Meagan just loves the pumpkins, and tonight she finally was able to help her daddy carve one. She REFUSED to touch the stuff inside, "too yucky - gross". We almost didn't have a pumpkin today, as when we told her tonight we would carve it, (it was sitting on the mantle for a while), we noticed it was very lopsided... Upon futher investigation, we saw it was very rotten!!
So Grant went all over town looking for a pumpkin, and he wheeled and dealed on the last one, that was suppose to be saved for someone else.... and they let Grant have it. We hope it'll be nice weather for Trick or Treating, as Meagan is getting excited. It should be fun!

Walmart photos

We popped into Walmart in Cold Lake and got a few photos done. The girls there just loved Caleb's smile! Said he was so easy to take photos of!
Here's Meagan at her Teddy Bear Tea Party...

And Grant's absolute favorite photo of Caleb. Now we have to find some cowboy boots that will fit him!
Meagan is started to get anxious for Halloween. She can't wait to carve the pumpkin with her Daddy, and go get candy! She loves seeing Halloween decorations in people's yards, and she gets a kick out of our two big blow up decorations of a cat / pumpkin and the ghost (which she calls Boo). Stay tuned for upcoming photos of the kids in their Halloween costumes!

Another update

Thought I better put a few more photos, just in case you were visiting our blog... I do take a LOT of photos... We've been busy getting our deck done... My parents helped so much... Grant learned how to build, I learned how to stain. But it rained when it ws almost done, and some of my staining was a waste.. oh well! It sucks that we didn't have it done BEFORE the summer, so we could enjoy it more!
Bought this adorable coat at a Christmas craft show when Meagan was a baby, now she can wear it! We're making a quick trip to Edmonton, watch out Cosco, here we come!!
The kids are both napping, and I really should try to get a little sleep! But there's always something else I should do!! wish I could get even 6 hours of straight sleep a night! Better run! hope you have a great day!

Our football Player

When some people see Caleb, they mention how he'll be a football player some day.... Thought I'd post these pictures to show that he's already a football player. His "Aunty" Kim gave him his first football when he was just a few weeks old. Here he is posing with his football....
and after a TOUCHDOWN....
and a shot of him just about to throw the ball to someone is left field....

Anything new happening in our little world.. not much. Mom and Dad are coming today to help build our deck with Grant... It's got so many holes in it, it'll be weird not having to dodge them! It could have been handy a few weeks ago, when we had a bear in our yard... If he came on the deck to get at our garbage, he would have fell through and we would have caught him before he went all over the neighbourhood. We did "catch the bear", (on video that is). Then Grant was out in the yard with a spotlight, looking for it... now that would of been a good video clip (Grant running away from the bear...)

I'm still trying to figure out how to build our dream home... and we're fixing up our Rental house in town, one step at a time. We are still throwing around the idea of moving into it, before we sell it. It is a very nice house, and we could handle living in town during winter...

ANYWAY... We have HIGH speed again!!!! After 2 1/2 years of living with dial up. Now I can write a little more, as it won't take me as long to do anything online. Paying bills online seemed to take an hour!! And of course now we can check things online in seconds, so I can play more.
There are so many good sites to check out, so I may mention the site of the day that I found cool...
if you want to play, I suggest 1st:

- download Picasa, which you can do from my blog... it's the little colorful square on this page below my posts... It's free, and it's SO easy to touch up your photos, and store your photos. I will post some before and after shots of some of the photos I've done. You go into basic fixes, and you can click on "sharpen" under Effexts. You can add tint, or turn photos to black and white or sepia. If you're a beginner to playing with digital photography, it's perfect!!!

Other sites I love are ANY good ones of digital scrapbooking. If you ever find a good one, your should let me know... My favorites are: (just to name a few)

http://www.shabbyprincess.com/
http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/
http://www.smilebox.com/
http://scrapbookdimensions.com/main/index.php

And I love seeing some great photos taken by professionals, to learn how to take better photos myself.

Better let you get on with playing on the computer! Later
