Meagan's big night
So.. 2 postings in one day.. wow. Thought I'd put on a few pictures of Meagan's big night.. so her Daddy can check the blog and see how cute she was. I wish I could figure out how to put video clips on here, but instead I emailed some, so Daddy could see her in action. She sang really good, and did all the actions right. I don't put photos of other kids on here, so I cropped Meagan out of a group shot. You do get to see her dancing with her "boyfriend". The playschool hired a DJ, and the kids had so much fun dancing to the tunes! Caleb was pretty pooped by then, and he just walked around aimlessly. Still cute though!
We had such a good supper. Potlucks are always a great feast. When we got home, the kids went straight to bed. Usually I'm fighting with Meagan to go to bed. She said "I'm going to bed Mom.. good night." and shut the door. And we were home by 8 pm.
The posters of all the kids were around the hall, and it was really neat to see. I had the slideshow of all the pictures since September, playing on the wall. It was a very enjoyable evening. Thank goodness Mom was there to help out, as there was so much going on! Well, I'm off to bed! :)
BATH time
Wow.. looking at these photos, you would never guess that there's 2 years difference between these 2! Thought this was a cute shot.
I am trying to get a slideshow together for Meagan's Playschool. Tonight is the big Midyear concert, where parents and grandparents are invited for supper. So, my parents are on their way here.. anytime now. They are looking forward to seeing Meagan sing 3 songs, with her classmates. I'm also finishing up a few body sized posters of each of the kids, that are being placed all through the hall walls. Each child has an 8x10 photo of their face put on their
"bodies" that were traced on paper. It should be fun. Poor Grant is working his butt off up North and in the cold, and has to miss it. But of course I'll have photos and videos for him to check out.
Gotta run!

Moon Sand
Here's a few pictures of our Moon Sand experience... Next I have a couple photos to put on for Bath time... Been meaning to post them. We're on our way to playschool. I'm the parent helper, and Meagan gets to "dress the bear". She loves that. It's also her show and share time. Later

Happy Valentine's Day
I should be making our Valentine cupcakes with Meagan, but I thought I'd post a few pictures for the day. We've been doing many things for Valentines this week, such as crafts, decorations, worksheets, etc. We even had heart shaped pink pancakes. Today we had a Valentine scavenger hunt, and the prize was Moon Sand. What a NO NO!! Never tried it before. What a mess!!!!
WE haven't seen Grant for more than a couple hours since Jan 2, as he's been staying in camp up north. He's VERY happy to have steady worl, as there are many people that are losing their jobs. And we have a some GREAT news!! We sold our house in town. (if all goes well)... Possession date would be the 1st of March. We are even happier that we'll be morgage free.. What a treat!
WE are all anxious for the winter to end. It seems like it's been an extra long winter, without Grant around. We are already looking forward to spending some time at West Ed when he's off work. Meagan's excited about going to the water park, and she wants to ride the roller coaster. (I don't think that will happen!) Well... guess I better run!!

Building with blocks
Ok... It's been a long time! But life is a little bit back to normal... My parents were here to help me with turning my laundry room into a room for Caleb. He is so happy with his room! He's loves to hang out and play in his own space. Since we're getting a little house bound, we've been playing with many of our toys in the basement. The kids are loving the extra space. There's enough room to ride their bicycles, and have a center for crafts, a kitchen, a "garage" and of course the block center! Thought I'd post a few pics. NOW how cute is that boy of ours! You can see the face he does when I say "cheese!" Too cute!
